Amelia dio su punto de vista sobre la nueva derrota de la Sele en el Mundial Femenino.
La Selección Nacional la noche de este martes cosechó su segunda derrota en el segundo partido que disputaron del Mundial de Australia y Nueva Zelanda, las ticas cayeron en esta ocasión ante Japón 2-0.
A raíz de dicho resultado Amelia Valverde fue muy puntal a indicar cuáles habían sido los errores de la Sele, que les costó su participación en el Mundial.
La entrenadora afirmó que fueron dos errores los que les costaron el partido, mismos que ocurrieron en cuestión de cuatro minutos, cabe destacar que ante España que la Tricolor también sufrió una derrota, la entrenadora se argumentó de la misma manera.
“Difícil, hicimos un gran esfuerzo, al final (fueron) dos descuidos, nuevamente después del minuto 23, cuatro minutos de desconcentración que nos cuestan el partido.
“Para tener un mejor resultado, está ligado con lo que acabo de mencionar, creo que los errores, los descuidos se pagan sumamente caros, también no aprovechar las ocasiones que en algunos momentos nos pueden quedar, creo que fue así otra vez, pagamos carísimo un cierre y recorrido que tal vez no se tuvo que haber hecho y nos cuesta el resultado”, expresó en declaraciones a FIFA.
Como era de imaginarse las palabras de Valverde han generado todo tipo de reacciones, ya que la mayoría de personas aseguran que la técnica no tiene autocrítica y que además, busca excusar el pésimo rendimiento de la Sele en el Mundial.
Ahora la Sele disputará el tercer partido de la fase de grupos este próximo 31 de julio, cuando se enfrente a su similar de Zambia, quienes también han perdido los dos juegos que han disputado.
