“Confío en el equipo, no soy de agachar la cabeza”, Joel Campbell tras el juego ante Ecuador
El delantero es claro de que el equipo debe mejorar, pero asegura que no es momento de agachar la cabeza.
El juego de este martes entre la Selección Nacional y su similar de Ecuador, dejó a más de una persona molesta y decepcionada debido al rendimiento que sigue demostrando la Tricolor cada vez que juega.
Y dicha molestia también cayó en el delantero de la Sele, Joel Campbell, quien no ocultó su enojó luego del partido ante Ecuador, y también envió un mensaje a sus compañeros de equipo.
Joel, es consiente de que el equipo tiene que mejorar, pero asegura que ahorita no es el momento de agachar la cabeza, esto lo expresó en la entrevista que dio luego del partido.
Asimismo, expresó que Ecuador es un buen equipo y además, aseguró que el equipo está preparado para la Copa de Oro que inicia en tan solo unos días.
“Estamos listos, tenemos que estar, el torneo empieza el lunes, es un rival complicado Panamá, confío en el equipo, no soy de agachar la cabeza ni esconderme”, expresó el delantero.
Campbell, también fue claro al decir que los resultados no se les dan, pero que deben de seguir trabajando duro.
“Lo que pasa es que los resultados no se dan, hay que seguir trabajando, ante los malos resultados hay que ponerle la cara, no agacharse y seguir”, agregó.
En cuanto a los cánticos de “olé” por parte del otro equipo, expresó que es normal.
“En el Nacional hacemos diez toques y le cantan al rival, es así. Ecuador es un rival complicado, no estamos jugando solos, a nadie le gusta perder. Hay que seguir peleando”, expresó.
La Tricolor debutará el próximo lunes ante Panamá, a las 6:30m y conforma el grupo C, junto a El Salvador y Martinica.
¿Cómo nos irá en esta Copa Oro? Pues eso no lo sabemos y a pesar de lo demostrado por los jugadores, ahora solo queda apoyar y esperar.
