Denuncian abandono de más de 12 mil mascotas durante la pandemia
Muchos perros y gatos han sido dejados a la deriva en Cundinamarca. Las autoridades hacen un llamado a adoptar mascotas y a no abandonarlos durante esta pandemia.
En el departamento de Cundinamarca ven con mucha preocupación las consecuencias de la pandemia del coronavirus a nivel económico, laboral y social. Ahora se les sumó otro problema: la Gobernación ya ha encontrado a 12.430 mascotas abandonas y tuvo que declarar emergencia sanitaria.
La situación más crítica fue registrada en el municipio de Soacha, donde 1.200 animales se encuentran sin dueño y sin techo. La triste situación ha llevado a las autoridades y locales a colocar letreros en los caminos donde se le ruega a las personas que no dejen a los animales a la deriva.
Según las autoridades locales, el abandono de perros y gatos ha aumentado considerablemente durante la pandemia del coronavirus. Nicolás García, gobernador de Cundinamarca, ya advirtió a la Policía y a los alcaldes de los 116 municipios del departamento.
