Niño de 11 años salva la vida de su abuela al conducir su auto y llevarla a un hospital

Un niño de 11 años se convirtió en héroe tras conducir un auto para trasladar a un centro médico a su abuela, que había sufrido una descompensación. Su historia se volvió viral en las redes sociales.
El pequeño PJ Brewer-Laye se encontraba jugando con su go-kart en una calle de Indianápolis, Estados Unidos, cuando notó a lo lejos que Angela Brewer-Laye, su abuela, se había puesto mal. Fue entonces que, sin dudarlo, tomó las llaves del coche de la mujer y condujo en dirección hacia ella.
La ayudó a subir al auto y la llevó a un centro de asistencia local, en donde pudo recuperarse exitosamente. Así lo dio a conocer la propia mujer al medio 11Alive.
“Estaba apoyada contra una señal de pare y de repente miro a mi derecha y veo mi vehículo, un Mercedes-Benz, viniendo hacia mi, rápido y tranquilo. Miré el coche y era él, PJ. Este niño tiene sólo 11 años y conduce como un profesional», dijo Angela Brewer-Laye.
El niño, que acaba de cumplir 12 años, pero tenía 11 cuando ocurrió el incidente, ya sabía lo que era conducir gracias a su abuelo, que le permitió estacionar su auto en varias ocasiones; sin embargo, esta era la primera vez que lo hacía en una carretera.
El hecho fue registrado en video y publicado a través de la cuenta de Facebook la mujer el pasado 27 de agosto. En el clip, se puede ver a su nieto conduciendo con gran tranquilidad.
“De repente mi glucosa cayó por debajo de 40. Estaba básicamente de rodillas y no podía caminar. Inmediatamente entró en acción. Déjame decirte que este niño solo tiene 11 años y puede conducir mejor que su mamá”, explicó.
