A 23 años de la muerte de Lady Di, William y Harry se unen en honor de la princesa de Gales
Los hijos de la princesa Diana de Gales emitieron en conjunto un comunicado con detalles sobre la estatua en honor a su madre.
Este lunes 31 de agosto se cumplen 23 años desde que un accidente automovilístico en París causó la muerte de la princesa Diana de Gales en el año 1997.
Los príncipes William y Harry, por su parte, sorprendieron al unirse en un comunicado oficial donde ofrecen detalles sobre de la estatua que será erigida en memoria de su madre.
Luego de cinco meses de permanecer distanciados, los hijos de la famosa británica publicaron un mensaje en conjunto que fue enviado desde el Palacio de Kensington.
En él, brindaron información sobre la escultura diseñada en honor a la princesa Diana y el impacto que tuvo en la población del Reino Unido y el resto del mundo. La instalación de la estatua está programada para el 1 de julio de 2021, en el Sunken Garden del Palacio de Kensington, como conmemoración del que sería su cumpleaños número 60.
“La estatua que el príncipe William y el príncipe Harry han comisionado para conmemorar a su madre, Diana, princesa de Gales, será instalada el próximo año en el que hubiera sido su cumpleaños 60”, fue parte del mensaje real.
Cabe recordar que hace tres años, los hermanos William y Harry, acompañados por la Duquesa de Cambridge, agradecieron a quienes dejaban recuerdos alusivos a Lady Di afuera del Palacio de Kensington, lugar que fue considerado como su último hogar.
