Jair Bolsonaro, presidente de Brasil, da positivo para coronavirus
El mandatario Jair Bolsonaro se sometió a una prueba tras presentar síntomas. No obstante, su oficina de prensa señaló que se encuentra «en buen estado de salud».
El presidente de Brasil, Jair Bolsonaro, dio positivo a un primer test de coronavirus. El mandatario se sometió a la prueba en la víspera tras sospechar que estaba infectado.
En un comunicado, su oficina de prensa dio a conocer la noticia, pero aseguró que se encuentra estable. No obstante, la cadena CNN Brasil informó que Bolsonaro le comentó a uno de sus reporteros que estaba presentando síntomas de COVID-19, como fiebre alta.
“Está limpio el pulmón, ¿de acuerdo? Voy a hacer un test de COVID-19 en un rato, pero está todo bien”, declaró tras advertir que no podía acercarse mucho a sus simpatizantes.
También comentó, agrega CNN, que está tomando hidroxicloroquina de manera preventiva.

El mandatario, de 65 años, ya se hizo anteriormente tres test para detectar el coronavirus. En mayo, fue obligado por la Corte Suprema a entregar los resultados, que dieron negativo.
Desde el inicio de la pandemia, Bolsonaro ha minimizado la enfermedad y participado en varios eventos públicos sin usar mascarilla, además de criticar las medidas de aislamiento social implementadas en varios estados.
El sábado, Bolsonaro publicó fotos en las redes sociales en las que se lo ve con el rostro descubierto junto a varios ministros y al embajador de Washington en Brasilia, durante un almuerzo de celebración del Día de la Independencia de Estados Unidos.
Y este lunes vetó otros dos artículos de la ley sobre el uso de mascarillas en lugares públicos para enfrentar la pandemia en Brasil, segundo país en número de muertos y de casos confirmados, después de Estados Unidos.
