Una mujer blanca sacó su pistola y apuntó a una familia afroamericana durante una tensa discusión, que incluyó acusaciones de racismo, en el estacionamiento de un restaurante de Estados Unidos.
El hecho ocurrió este miércoles 1 de julio en el condado de Oakland, Michigan. De acuerdo al diario The Detroit News, quien primero publicó la información, la afroestadounidense Takelia Hill aseguró que la mujer del video chocó con su hija de 15 años cuando estaban por entrar al local de comida rápida Chipotle.
La secuencia comienza después de ese incidente, en el estacionamiento del restaurante. La mujer blanca discute con Hill y su hija. Luego, la implicada se sube a su auto, baja la ventanilla y dice: «Las personas blancas no son racistas, nadie es racista» y «Ustedes me importan», antes de que el vehículo en que iba comenzara a retroceder.
Segundos después, el auto se frena de golpe: parece que Takelia estaba detrás. Según le contó ella a The Detroit News, golpeó con su mano el vidrio trasero porque pensó que la iban a pisar.
A raíz de esta situación, la mujer blanca sale del vehículo y su arma en dirección a Takelia y su hija. Además, le grita a las personas que se alejen de ella y su vehículo.
«Me está apuntando con una pistola», se escucha decir a alguien, quien luego pide ayuda a otra persona para que avise a la policía. La mujer blanca entonces baja el arma, se sube al vehículo en el lado del pasajero y se va.
El sargento Dale Brown, de la policía de condado Oakland, confirmó que el incidente está siendo investigado y manifestó a Detroit Free Press que la fiscalía decidirá si se presentan cargos. Afirmó que no hubo disparos y nadie resultó herido.
