Balance positivo: Comisión de arbitraje señala un solo error tras la llegada del VAR en Costa Rica
Desde que el VAR (Video Assistant Referee) se puso en marcha en la jornada 9 de la Primera División de fútbol de Costa Rica, la Comisión de arbitraje ha identificado únicamente un error en su aplicación. Esta tecnología, que convierte a Costa Rica en el primer país de Centroamérica en utilizarla, ha generado un impacto positivo en la precisión de las decisiones arbitrales.
A pesar de que la implementación del VAR ha sido relativamente reciente, se espera que con el tiempo se optimicen aún más los tiempos de revisión, para hacerlos más ágiles y mejorar la experiencia tanto para los jugadores como para los aficionados. La comisión confía en que con la capacitación continua de los árbitros, los beneficios del VAR seguirán mejorando el desarrollo del fútbol nacional.
