Estados Unidos y Colombia Ofrecen Millonarias Recompensas por Líderes del Tren de Aragua
En una acción conjunta, el Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos y la Policía colombiana han lanzado una campaña para capturar a tres prominentes líderes del Tren de Aragua, ofreciendo una recompensa total de más de 11 mil millones de pesos chilenos por información que conduzca a su captura.
Designación como Amenaza Criminal
La Oficina de Control de Activos Extranjeros de Estados Unidos ha designado al Tren de Aragua como una asociación criminal transnacional, señalándola como una grave amenaza criminal en toda la región. Esta organización criminal ha sido vinculada con actividades ilícitas como narcotráfico, extorsiones, secuestros y asesinatos, operando con impunidad a través de múltiples países.
Detalles de los Líderes Buscados
La recompensa incluye 3 millones de dólares por información que conduzca a la captura de Giovanny San Vicente, conocido como Giovanny, quien lidera el control del narcotráfico en Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador y Canadá.
Por otro lado, se ofrecen 4 millones de dólares por cualquier dato relevante sobre Yohan José Romero, alias Petrica, otro miembro clave del Tren de Aragua.
La mayor recompensa, de 5 millones de dólares, está destinada a quien proporcione información que lleve a la captura de Héctor Guerrero, conocido como Niño Guerrero, quien escapó de la prisión venezolana de Tocorón en septiembre de 2023.
Compromiso Contra el Crimen Transnacional
En un comunicado conjunto, las autoridades manifestaron su determinación en utilizar todas las herramientas y autoridades disponibles para combatir organizaciones como el Tren de Aragua, que explotan a las poblaciones vulnerables y utilizan el sistema financiero internacional para sus actividades delictivas.
