Alcalde francés emitió ordenanza para que no llueva y animó a clérigos a comunicarse con «el más allá»

Daniel Marrière, alcalde de la pintoresca localidad de Coulonces en el noroeste de Francia, ha decidido enfrentar el inusual clima de lluvias intensas con una estrategia poco convencional. En medio de lo que describió como uno de los julios más lluviosos que haya visto, Marrière emitió una ordenanza el martes para detener las precipitaciones y traer de vuelta el sol.
«Esta primavera ha sido una de las más lluviosas registradas desde 1959», lamentó Marrière en una entrevista con AFP. «Esperábamos un poco más de sol y menos lluvia para esta época del año».
El alcalde, en un intento por aligerar el humor local y animar a su comunidad, incluyó en la ordenanza un llamado a los clérigos locales para que intercedan en el más allá y ayuden a restablecer el buen tiempo. «Se estipula que los clérigos de las parroquias del norte de Francia deberán colaborar en la comunicación con el más allá», explicó Marrière en el texto de la ordenanza.
A pesar de la tonalidad humorística de la medida, Marrière aseguró que recibió una respuesta positiva por parte de los habitantes de Coulonces. «Muchos de nuestros 227 residentes han expresado su agradecimiento», comentó el alcalde.
Con esta medida, Daniel Marrière no solo busca aliviar la carga de las lluvias persistentes sobre su localidad, sino también fortalecer el espíritu comunitario y mantener el buen ánimo entre los habitantes de Coulonces frente a las inclemencias del clima.
