Un vecino de Ensenada, Baja California, tuvo una inesperada oportunidad de recuperar su camioneta robada gracias a una peculiar oferta vista en redes sociales. La pick-up, que había sido sustraída días antes, apareció listada para la venta, lo que llevó al dueño a actuar rápidamente.

El afectado decidió contactar al supuesto vendedor y acordaron encontrarse el domingo 7 de julio en el estacionamiento de un centro comercial en la colonia Bahía. Antes de la reunión, el propietario llamó al número de emergencias 911, solicitando la presencia de la policía y explicando la situación.
Simulación de Compra
Siguiendo las instrucciones de las autoridades, el dueño simuló la compra mientras los oficiales se dirigían al lugar. La estrategia culminó con la detención de una pareja, Isidro “N” y su novia María “N”, quienes estaban en posesión del vehículo. Al verificar el número de serie, la policía confirmó que el automóvil tenía un reporte de robo.

El Centro de Comando y Control (C2) Poniente alertó a los policías de campo, quienes se entrevistaron con las víctimas provenientes del estado de Guerrero. Las víctimas detallaron que habían sido contactadas por el supuesto vendedor a través de una red social. Durante la cita, los asaltantes huyeron en un vehículo compacto gris.
Persecución y Captura
Gracias a un cerco virtual, los sospechosos fueron localizados en la colonia Molino de Santo Domingo, en la alcaldía Álvaro Obregón. Tras una persecución que terminó en las calles Santa Clara y Río Tacubaya, los oficiales interceptaron el vehículo. Una revisión preventiva reveló dos armas de fuego cortas y 20 cartuchos útiles en posesión de los tres hombres, de 39, 20 y 19 años, respectivamente. Fueron detenidos y puestos a disposición de un agente del Ministerio Público junto con el vehículo en el que huían.
