El nuevo viaducto en la ruta 27 finalmente fue inaugurado este lunes 30 de octubre
El viaducto pretende solucionar el hundimiento en el kilómetro 44.
Este lunes 30 de octubre al ser las 11:00am, se habilitó finalmente el paso por el nuevo viaducto de la ruta 27 esto en el kilómetro 44 que se había visto afectado por un hundimiento.
Dicha estructura fue construida por la empresa Globalvía que es concesionaria de la carretera, y según trascendió su costo ascendió a los $15 millones.
Como lo mencionamos anteriormente, el viaducto fue construido como una solución al hundimiento existente, desde hace años y que amenazaba con colapsar el tránsito vehicular en la ruta que comunica la Gran Área Metropolitana (GAM) con el Pacífico Central.
En cuanto al deslizamiento en el kilómetro 44, fue descubierto en 2011 por el Laboratorio Nacional de Materiales y Modelos Estructurales (Lanamme) de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), este un año después de la puesta en funcionamiento de la carretera.
