La Tormenta Tropical Pilar estaría impactando de manera indirecta al país generando más lluvias
En algunos sectores del país los expertos prevén lluvias bastante intensas.
Todo parece indicar que las lluvias estarán bastante presentes los primeros días de esta semana, esto debido a que el Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), indicó que la Tormenta Tropical Pilar estaría impactando de manera indirecta al país.
De acuerdo con los expertos del IMN la Tormenta Tropical se posiciona en el Océano Pacífico, frente a las costas de El Salvador, aproximadamente a 655 km al oeste del Golfo de Papagayo en Costa Rica.
En cuanto al territorio nacional, se indicó que la interacción de este ciclón con la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical favorece condiciones inestables.
Debido a lo anterior los expertos prevén que para el Valle Central, Caribe y Zona Norte se presenten lluvias entre débiles y moderadas, con aguaceros y tormenta eléctrica de manera puntual.
Por su parte, el IMN detalló que mantiene vigilando ininterrumpidamente este ciclón para informar de inmediata cualquier cambio significativo en las proyecciones.
Además, la institución realizó un llamado especial a las regiones del Pacífico y zonas montañosas del país debido a que son los sectores donde se esperan que las lluvias sean más intensas.
A raíz de lo anterior, el IMN realizó una serie de recomendaciones para que todos los ciudadanos las tomen en cuenta:
- Precaución por saturación de alcantarillado y posibles inundaciones repentinas, así como las principales rutas del país ante eventos lluviosos fuertes.
- Prevención ante tormenta eléctrica y buscar refugio en un sitio seguro en caso de presentarse o de percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, debido a la posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
