¡Qué preocupante! El “principal” sicario de un grupo narco en Puntarenas tiene solo 16 años
Las autoridades indicaron que el menor de edad ya cuenta con varias víctimas mortales en su expediente.
Para nadie es un secreto que la situación de violencia que vive el país es realmente preocupante y la provincia de Puntarenas ha sido una de las más afectadas con más de 88 homicidios en lo que llevamos del 2023.
Ante dicha situación las autoridades han enfocado sus fuerzas en trabajar en la desarticulación de las bandas criminales que tienen a Costa Rica en la peor crisis de asesinatos de la historia.
Según detalló Randall Zúñiga, director del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), en Puntarenas “el principal” sicario de un grupo narco tiene tan solo 16 años y este ya cuenta con con varias víctimas mortales en su expediente.
Asimismo, el jerarca comentó que lo más preocupante del caso es que también hay casos de menores entre 13 y 15 años que ya tienen conocimiento en este tipo de actividades criminales ya que desde pequeños los empiezan a formar en diferentes áreas “y luego asumen roles importantes en las agrupaciones”.
Por otra parte, el jerarca comentó que muchas veces los grupos criminales tienen conocimiento de que la policía tiene dificultades a la hora trabajar en la investigación de los sospechosos, ya que saben que se debe llevar expedientes paralelos, y como no se lleva registro de los nombres eso les permite delinquir muchas veces sin que queden en los registros.
“Es como un hedonismo cultural que hay, se llevan la fama aunque mala, hay niños que dicen que quieren ser sicarios porque ven que un papá o un vecino pudieron comprar una casa o un carro, son víctimas de violencia social y optan por esta salida rápida para generar ingresos y llevar una vida indigna”, agregó.
Además, las autoridades aseguran que en la mayoría de casos estos jóvenes no duran más de tres años en la delincuencia ya que muchos son “eliminados por las mismas bandas” o caen en las manos de la policía en el mejor de los casos.
El director del OIJ, asegura que para poder atacar estos grupos criminales se necesitan más recursos, más personal y herramientas tecnológicas que en este momento no cuentan las autoridades.
“Se cortaron ingresos extras como el impuesto a la exportación de cajas de banano o impuesto a ley de casinos que no están llegando a la policía”, agregó Zúñiga.
