Las autoridades iraníes procesarán a Mehdi Yarrahi por su canción Rousarito, ‘que desafía las costumbres y los usos de la sociedad musulmana’.
El cantante de pop iraní Mehdi Yarrahi fue detenido este lunes por difundir una canción en contra de la obligación de llevar el velo, según medios estatales.
«Tras la difusión de una canción ilegal de Mehdi Yarrahi y la presentación de una denuncia, Yarrahi fue detenido por orden del fiscal de Teherán», indicó la agencia de prensa del poder judicial, Mizan Online.
El cantante, de 41 años y que vive en Teherán, la capital, publicó su canción el viernes.

La joven kurda fue detenida por supuestamente incumplir el código de vestimenta que desde 1979, año de la Revolución Islámica, impone llevar el velo en el país.
Desde hace más de un año aparecen cada vez más mujeres sin el velo en las grandes ciudades.
Yarrahi ya era conocido por su canción Soroode Zan (Himno de la mujer, en persa), que salió a inicios de octubre y se convirtió en un himno de los manifestantes, entre otros en las universidades.
