Dos hermanos mueren de cáncer el mismo día y en la misma cama de hospital tras dos años
Ambos hermanos habían sido diagnosticados con cáncer con tan solo un mes de diferencia durante 2021. El hermano menor falleció durante los primeros minutos del pasado sábado y, horas después, el mayor fue internado en la misma cama de hospital donde sería declarado muerto antes de la media noche.
Dos hermanos, de 52 y 38 años, murieron de cáncer el mismo día y en la misma cama de hospital, tras dos años de haber recibido el diagnóstico de la enfermedad.
Francisco Antunes Sobrino y su hermano menor, Eduardo Antunes da Silveira -ambos de Santa Cruz, Brasil-, se enteraron que tenían cáncer con tan solo un mes de diferencia, en mayo y junio de 2021 respectivamente, contó O’Globo.
En ese centro de salud estaba Joao Antunes Neto, hermano de Francisco y Eduardo, quien fue informado por una enfermera sobre el fallecimiento e inmediatamente llamó al resto de la familia para comunicárselos.
Sin embargo, durante aquellos primeros minutos del pasado sábado, Joao se enteró en la llamada que Francisco se había puesto mal de salud en su casa y que estaba siendo trasladado hasta el mismo hospital donde estaba Eduardo.

Aquel día, la familia fue a visitar al enfermo antes de asistir al velorio de Eduardo, sin imaginar que horas después Francisco fallecería en la misma cama que su hermano menor, debido al cáncer de hígado que padecía.
Tras ambas pérdidas, sus allegados enterraron a los hermanos en el Cementerio Público de Santa Cruz.
El entierro de los dos hermanos tuvo lugar en el Cementerio Público de Santa Cruz.
