Falla de un banco permite a sus clientes retirar dinero que no tenían en su cuenta
Los clientes de un banco en Irlanda pudieron retirar hasta mil euros, aunque no contarán con esa cantidad en sus cuentas, todo debido a una falla.
Uno de los bancosmás grandes de Irlanda tuvo una falla que ocasionó que sus clientes pudieran retirar grandes sumas de dinero de sus cuentas aunque éstas estuvieran en ceros.
Bank of Ireland (BOI) fue quien presentó la falla en su aplicación digital, lo que permitía que sus usuarios realizarán transferencias de hasta mil euros, equivalente a más de 18 mil pesos mexicanos, a otras cuentas y después retirar el dinero en un cajero automático, aunque en sus cuentas no contaran con esta cantidad.

El banco mandó un comunicado para disculparse por la falla y los inconvenientes que ésta causó. Asimismo, indicó que “los fondos transferidos y retirados, incluso “sobre los límites normales… serán debitados de su cuenta”.
La policía de Irlanda indicó que estaban al tanto de la falla en el banco, pero que no podían hacer nada, ya que era completamente responsabilidad del Bank of Ireland.
Otros problemas del banco de Irlanda
Esta no es la primera vez que el banco de Irlanda enfrenta problemas técnicos, ya que en junio pasado, algunos de sus servicios se cayeron y los clientes pasaron varias horas sin poder acceder, retirar dineroni consultar sus cuentas.
«¡¡Aquí vamos de nuevo!! ¿El Bank of Ireland no tiene un plan de contingencia?”, “No he podido acceder a mi cuenta en todo el día, lo cual es ridículo. ¡¿Cómo se supone que la gente compre comida u otras necesidades si nuestras tarjetas ni siquiera funcionan o no podemos verificar nuestros saldos bancarios?!”, fueron algunos de los comentarios que publicaron en redes sociales.
