Los propietarios de los modelos iPhone 14 y iPhone 14 Pro están reportando un rápido desgaste de la batería en menos de un año de uso. Sam Kohl, del medio de noticias ‘AppleTrack’, tuiteó que su iPhone 14 Pro había perdido ya el 10% de su capacidad total, un deterioro significativamente más rápido que el experimentado en iPhone anteriores. Kohl enfatizó su inquietud a través de un video publicado recientemente, en el que expresó su reticencia a recomendar el teléfono, particularmente considerando su elevado precio de 999 dólares, explican en “The Verge”.
No hay una explicación clara de por qué los usuarios de iPhone 14 experimentan una rápida degradación de la batería. Podría deberse a un patrón de uso individual, ya que algunos usuarios usan su dispositivo con más rigor y lo cargan con más frecuencia. Otra razón podría ser las condiciones climáticas, ya que muchos países han tenido veranos récord este año. Sin embargo, no todos los usuarios de iPhone 14 experimentan este problema. Joanna Stern, excolaboradora de “The Verge” y columnista de tecnología senior del “Wall Street Journal”, informó en su boletín reciente que su iPhone 14 Pro registra una capacidad de batería del 88%.
Apple afirma que las baterías de los iPhones deben conservar hasta el 80% de su capacidad original tras completar 500 ciclos de carga. Sin embargo, los usuarios que han reportado problemas con la batería de sus iPhone 14 y iPhone 14 Pro han completado menos de 500 ciclos de carga.
