Detienen a mujer por ser sospechosa de causar daños en los escáneres de APM Terminals
En los últimos días se presentaron colisiones contra los escáneres, eso poco tiempo después de que entrara en ejecución la llamada “Operación Soberanía”.
Este domingo 23 de julio, una mujer cuya identidad no se dio a conocer fue detenida por agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), por ser sospechosa de causar daños en los escáneres colocados hace varios días en APM Terminals, en Limón.
La detención de la femenina se da después de que en los últimos días se presentaron colisiones contra los escáneres, además, de la suspensión del servicio de Internet en el interior de APM Terminals, todo esto justo después de que entrara en ejecución la llamada “Operación Soberanía”.
En cuanto a la denuncia ante el Ministerio Público por estos casos, según informó el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP), fue el viceministro de Unidades Especiales, Manuel Jiménez quien la presentó.
En cuanto a los incidentes ocurridos recientemente en APM Terminals con los escáneres, las autoridades creen que dichos actos fueron “premeditados, en contra de los nuevos equipos”, que como ya es conocido sirven para detectar el trasiego de droga, y más actividades ilícitas.
“Agradezco el trabajo del Ministerio Público y del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), que actuaron con la rapidez y diligencia que amerita un caso de este tipo, que perjudica no sólo la instalación de una empresa privada, sino el esfuerzo de todo un país en la lucha que libra contra el narcotráfico y el crimen organizado”, detalló el ministro, Mario Zamora.
Asimismo, el ministro expresó que no dudará en presentar las denuncias pertinentes ante las autoridades judiciales, ante cualquier acto delictivo que suceda en dicha terminal portuaria.
