Escombros encontrados son del submarino Titán, asegura experto y amigo de los pasajeros
Investigador Mearns explicó que “no se ha encontrado el casco del sumergible, pero se han descubierto 2 partes importantes”.
El experto en rescate y amigo de dos de los tripulantes del Titán, David Mearns, contó para Sky News que los escombros provienen del sumergible de OceanGate Expeditions, según reportes llegados a su bandeja de WhatsApp. Los restos serían «el marco de aterrizaje y la cubierta trasera».
Todavía pendiente de confirmación por parte de las Guardias Costeras de Estados Unidos y Canadá, el descubrimiento certificaría la hipótesis de que una falla en el casco produjo la implosión de la nave.
Hace poco más de una hora, un ROV (vehículo de control remoto) encontró cerca del área del Titanic «un campo de rastros». La información preliminar de David Mearns también fue difundida por la británica BBC.
