La Selección de Panamá nos volvió a dar una lección, pero ahora con la Sele Sub-23
Los panameños lograron llegar a la final del torneo Maurice Revello.
Para nadie es un secreto que últimamente la Selección Nacional de Costa Rica, no la ha pasado nada bien cuando enfrenta a su similar de Panamá, y es que una vez más la selección canalera nos dio una lección, pero ahora con la Sele Sub-23.
Resulta que jugadores panameños de la Sub-23, si sacaron la tarea y la cara por Centroamérica, ya que lograron avanzar a la final del prestigioso torneo Maurice Revello, del cual nuestra Tricolor quedó eliminado el fin de semana anterior y además, ocupando el último puesto.
En cuanto a Panamá, iniciaron el torneo Maurice Revello con un empate 1-1 ante Costa de Marfil y perdieron un punto en penales.
Mientras que en la segunda fecha le ganaron 2-0 a Japón y luego empataron ante Marruecos a un gol, llegando a penales y ganando un punto extra en dicha tanda.
Ante estos resultados lograron ganar el grupo con seis unidades y luego se impusieron a Australia en la semifinal tras ganarles 2-1.
Ahora los canaleros se enfrentarán en las finales a la Selección de México que le ganó a Francia en tanda de penales luego de empatar 2-2 en tiempo regular en el Stade d’Honneur Marcel Roustan.
La final del torneo Maurice Revello disputará el próximo domingo 18 de junio.
