16 persona fueron detenidas por en apariencia formar parte de una banda dedicada al tráfico de drogas
Los allanamientos se realizaron en sectores como Heredia, Alajuela, Curridabat y San José.
Desde horas de la mañana de este martes 23 de mayo, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), realizaron una serie de allanamientos en diferentes sectores como Heredia, Alajuela, Curridabat y San José.
En total fueron 14 intervenciones, en las que las autoridades lograron detener a a 16 personas que, en apariencia formaban parte de una organización dedicada al tráfico de drogas.
De acuerdo con el informe de las autoridades, las investigaciones contra esta agrupación iniciaron desde mediado del 2022, cuando recibieron información confidencial que denunciaba que al parecer en un vivienda ubicada en Mercedes Sur, de Heredia, se estaba almacenado droga.
Tras meses de investigación, los agentes judiciales lograron determinar que la organización se dedicaba al cultivo de marihuana hidropónica, misma que era producida por los integrantes de la organización, para luego ser distribuida a otros grupos criminales del país.
En cuanto a las personas detenidas, fueron remitidas al Ministerio Público, para determinar su situación jurídica.
