Padres retoman sus estudios universitarios y consiguen graduarse junto con su hija
‘No puedo expresar lo orgullosa que estoy’, señaló la joven, quien vivió un especial momento junto con sus progenitores en Texas.
Muchos padres sueñan con ver a sus hijos cumpliendo sus metas profesionales. Pero, para Robyn y Greg Adams, esta experiencia fue aún más especial, ya que lograron retomar sus estudios universitarios y se graduaron junto a su primogénita el pasado 13 de mayo, en Estados Unidos.
“No puedo expresar lo orgullosa que estoy de mis padres, no solo por regresar a la escuela, sino por aprovechar al máximo su tiempo aquí”, compartió Ashley Adams en un comunicado de prensa de la Universidad Luterana de Texas (UTL).
De acuerdo a la joven, sus progenitores no pudieron concluir su educación porque querían formar una familia y, en ese entonces, había mejores oportunidades para lograr esa meta.
Cuando decidieron retomar su educación superior, le preguntaron a su hija si le incomodaba la idea de que ambos se transfieran a la ULT. Sin embargo, ella no dudó y los motivó a realizarlo.
Sobre el paso de la pareja por la ULT, Ashley señaló que su madre jamás abandonó su lado maternal, ya que se dedicó a ayudar a sus compañeros de clases en varias ocasiones. Por su parte, su padre llegó a ser un atleta al unirse al equipo de golf.
