Detienen a tres extranjeros por ser sospechosos de intimidar y timar gente en San José
Los detenidos utilizaban unos broches para zapato para timar a sus víctimas.
Este domingo 7 de mayo, oficiales de la Fuerza Pública dieron con la captura de tres sujetos extranjeros, por ser sospechosos de intimidar y timar gente en San José.
De acuerdo con el reporte del Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP), los sospechosos operaban ofreciéndole a sus víctimas ponerles broches en sus zapatos por ¢200, pero a la hora de cobrar les exigían montos de hasta ¢10 mil.
Los hombres cuyas identidades no trascendieron fueron detenidos cerca del parque Central, luego de que varias persona se acercaron a los uniformados para alertarlos de lo que realizaban los hombres.
“De acuerdo con lo expresado por los ofendidos, los sujetos les proponían colocarles unos broches en los zapatos a cambio de 200 colones, pero tras terminar la colocación de esos accesorios, el monto aumentaba de manera sorpresiva.
“Ello debido a que, bajo intimidación, les decían a las víctimas, en su mayoría personas adultas mayores, mujeres y adolescentes, que ya no eran 200 colones, sino que el costo era entre 7.000 y 10.000 colones”, detallaron las autoridades.
Asimismo indicaron, que los implementos utilizados por los sujetos para timar a las personas, fueron decomisadas por la Policía Municipal.
“De igual forma la Fuerza Pública realizó coordinaciones con la Policía Municipal a efectos de que se encargara del decomiso de los artículos que portaban los presuntos delincuentes, entre estos algunos broches y las herramientas que usaban para colocárselos a los ofendidos”.
En cuanto a los sospechosos, las autoridades indicaron que los tres se encontraban en condición migratoria irregular, por lo que fueron puestos a las órdenes de la Policía de Migración, quienes determinaran la situación de estos hombres, quienes todo parece indicar serán deportados a sus países de origen.
