Hombre es acusado de sacar machete en un karaoke porque no le dejaron interpretar otra canción
El individuo presuntamente amenazó a un cliente del karaoke. Sin embargo, resultó detenido y enfrenta un cargo por alteración al orden público, según autoridades.
Un hombre enfrenta cargos penales luego de que habría sacado un machete dentro de un karaoke en Cabo Cañaveral, Estados Unidos, después de que no le permitieron interpretar otra canción en el establecimiento.
El sospechoso, identificado como Travis Jordan, de 39 años, fue arrestado y acusado de un cargo de alteración al orden público en la tarde del pasado domingo, 2 de abril de 2023, según información del medio Click Orlando.
Agentes de la Policía llegaron al karaoke y encontraron a Jordan tambaleándose, con los ojos vidriosos y rojos y con un fuerte olor a alcohol.
Los uniformados hablaron con la persona que este individuo habría amenazado con el machete, de aproximadamente 20 centímetros, después de que le negaron su solicitud de interpretar otra canción. La mujer, temiendo por su vida y la de los demás asistentes al karaoke, convenció a Jordan de que entregara pacíficamente el machete.
De acuerdo con una declaración jurada, uno de los trabajadores del establecimiento escondió el arma cortopunzante y llamó a las autoridades luego de que “todos comenzaron a enloquecer”.
“Desafortunadamente, las acciones de Jordan no le valieron otra canción en el escenario, pero sí le ganaron un viaje a ‘Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge’, donde todas las noches hay micrófono abierto y puede cantar cualquier canción que quiera durante toda la noche”, bromeó el alguacil del condado de Brevard, Wayne Ivey.
Entretanto, Jordan admitió haber empuñado el machete y le reveló a los agentes que días antes lo habían amenazado, razón por la cual tenía el objeto cortopunzante para protegerse.
Hasta la mañana de este miércoles, 5 de abril, los registros policiales indicaban que este sujeto seguía bajo custodia.
