Bañarse el viernes de crucifixión, comer carne roja y escuchar música son algunas actividades que, dicen creyentes, se deben evitar durante la Semana Santa. Vea lo que explican sacerdotes.
Abundan los mitos sobre lo que se debe hacer y lo que está prohibido durante la Semana Santa , pues, recalca la religión, este es un tiempo dedicado a recordar la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesús. Dichas creencias han sido transmitidas por varias generaciones.

«Los católicos cristianos recordamos y conmemoramos el hecho más importante, que es la muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo. Recordamos la entrada de Jesús a Jerusalén el Domingo de Ramos, el Jueves Santo, la última cena; el viernes, el momento de la crucifixión; y el domingo, la resurrección del Señor», señaló el sacerdote Carlos Posada, en diálogo con Canal Institucional.
Sobre las creencias en Semana Santa, el prelado aseguró que, aunque hacen parte del respeto y fervor de las personas, estos mitos no tienen ningún sustento.
«Son cosas que se introdujeron en la Semana Santa y que hacen parte del fervor popular de las personas, pero esto no tiene ningún sustento. El viernes es básicamente recordar el acontecimiento de la muerte de Jesucristo, cosas como no bañarse o vestirse de rojo no interfiere en nada», argumentó en el diálogo con Canal Institucional.
Agregó en dicho medio de comunicación que «nuestro cambio es internamente, lo externo no importa. Como dice el profeta Isaías: ‘Este pueblo me honra con los labios, pero su corazón está lejos de mí’. Hay cosas que ayudan, pero lo que importa es una verdadera transformación desde nuestros actos».
