La historia de Vetin Begdas es un ejemplo de esperanza y resiliencia. La pequeña de tres meses y medio, quien sobrevivió bajo los escombros del terremoto que sacudió a Siria y Turquía, finalmente se reencontró con su madre después de 54 días de separación.
El terremoto del 6 de febrero dejó miles de fallecidos y desaparecidos, entre ellos el padre y dos hermanos de Vetin. La bebé fue encontrada con vida después de pasar 128 horas bajo los escombros de su hogar. Fue trasladada al hospital, donde recibió tratamiento y se recuperó satisfactoriamente.
Mientras tanto, los rescatistas continuaban buscando a su madre, Yasemin Begdas. Cinco días después del terremoto, la encontraron con vida, lo que dio esperanza a la familia y a la comunidad en medio de la tragedia.
Después de confirmar a través de una prueba de ADN que Yasemin era la madre de Vetin, la pequeña fue entregada a los cuidados de la Ministra de Familia y Servicios Sociales turca, Derya Yanik, quien expresó su emoción por el reencuentro y destacó la importancia de reunir a una madre con su hijo.
Ahora, con la recuperación de Yasemin, la bebé finalmente ha sido entregada a su madre y ambos disfrutan de su reencuentro. Yanik compartió en sus redes sociales un video del emotivo momento, en el que se ve a Yasemin abrazando a su hija y agradeciendo a los rescatistas y al personal médico que ayudaron a salvar sus vidas.
La historia de Vetin y Yasemin es un recordatorio de la resiliencia humana y la importancia de la esperanza en tiempos de adversidad. A pesar de la tragedia y la separación, la familia ha logrado reunirse y encontrar la felicidad en medio del dolor.
