Miss Universo 2022: R’Bonney Gabriel, representante de Estados Unidos, ganó el concurso de belleza
¡Contra todo pronóstico! R’Bonney Gabriel, Miss USA, se convirtió en la sucesora de Harnaaz Sandhu y se llevó los aplausos del público.
Miss Universo tiene una nueva reina y es R’Bonney Gabriel. La joven modelo, natal de Estados Unidos, se llevó la corona del certamen que conglomeró a miles de personas. De esta manera, se convirtió en la sucesora de Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss India, este 14 de enero en el país donde nació. Amanda Dudamel fue la primera finalista (Venezuela) y Andreína Martínez (República Dominicana), la segunda. La joven se mostró emocionada al ser coronada en vivo y en directo ante miles de personas.
Su anuncio causó sorpresa en el público, pues muchos pensaban que la modelo sudamericana iba a obtener dicho título. Fue la única de esta parte de la región que integró el top 5 del certamen.

¿Quién coronó a R’Bonney Gabriel como Miss Universo?
Harnaaz Sandhu, quien fue Miss India, se encargó de coronar a su sucesora en la gran noche. Ella fue la primera representante de su país en ganar este título a sus 21 años.
Las anfitrionas del evento fueron Jeannie Mai Jenkins y Olivia Culpo. Esta última, se coronó Miss Universo en el 2012. Los músicos Big Freedia, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Amanda Shaw, Tank and the Bangas y Yolanda Adams interpretaron en la gala.
