Inusual acompañante: serpiente sorprendió a pasajeros de bus de Turrialba
El reptil se encontraba oculto en un maletero.
Este lunes 2 de enero, los pasajeros de un autobús que viajaba de Turrialba a San José se llevaron un susto cuando se dieron cuenta que una serpiente los acompañaba durante su trayecto.
Según informó Telenoticias, el reptil se encontraba oculto en un maletero y cuando uno de los pasajeros la halló, inmediatamente alertó al conductor.
Cuando el resto de los viajeros se percataron de lo que acontecía, entraron en pánico y se levantaron de sus asientos.
La serpiente fue capturada y posteriormente fue colocada en su hábitat. Afortunadamente ninguna persona resultó herida.
De acuerdo con información suministrada por el Cuerpo de Bomberos al noticiero de canal 7, solo el año pasado se atendieron 6 mil incidentes ligados con serpientes. La mayoría ubicadas en casas de habitación, pero también han encontrado reptiles ocultos en vehículos y hasta dentro de servicios sanitarios.
“No tiene sentido ver si es venenosa o no, el animal cuando invaden su espacio se va a defender y va a intentar morder a la persona, en ese caso pedimos a la gente que se retire y notifique al 9-1-1”, explicó Luis Salas del Cuerpo de Bomberos.
La institución benemérita recuerda que ante la aparición de serpientes o bien otros animales como cocodrilos o perezoso es vital llamar al 9-1-1 y no exponerse al peligro.
