“Da tristeza y vergüenza ajena”: Chaves sobre declaraciones de Priscilla Vindas
“Para muchas de nosotras es nuestro acosador, es nuestro violador, e inclusive es nuestro asesino, sentado en una silla presidencial”, aseguró la diputada del Frente Amplio en un congreso de mujeres progresistas.
El presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves, se refirió este miércoles a las declaraciones que brindó el pasado 12 de octubre en el Congreso Iberoamericano de Mujeres Progresistas la diputada del Partido Frente Amplio (PFA), Priscilla Vindas.
En el encuentro, que se realizó en Colombia, Vindas dijo: “Para los movimientos feministas esto es una desgracia (tener a Chaves de mandatario). Tener esa representación que para muchas de nosotras es nuestro acosador, es nuestro violador, e inclusive es nuestro asesino, sentado en una silla presidencial”.
El mandatario considera que las palabras de la legisladora frenteamplista son querellables y comentó que muchos abogados le han ofrecido sus servicios para llevar el caso a tribunales. Sin embargo, por el momento, no lo hará.
“Son acusaciones muy fuertes violación, asesinato, son mentiras a mí nunca me echaron del Banco Mundial ni se me encontró culpable de lo que ella dice, la ofensa a mí me resbala en lo personal en el sentido de que no me toca el alma porque yo sé que son mentiras obviamente declaraciones querellables”, indicó Chaves.
“Tengo muchos abogados diciendo presidente se lo hago gratis deme la oportunidad de darle una lección a esa señora y al Partido Frente Amplio que replicó el video en el que ella dice esas cosas”, agregó.
El mandatario indicó además que las palabras de la congresista Vindas lejos de enojarlo le generan pena.
“Es una ofensa a Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves es lo de menos, me duele que mi familia, mis hijas oigan esas cosas aunque ellas saben que son patrañas. ¿Qué voy a hacer legalmente? La verdad es que no me importa mucho lo que da es tristeza y en alguna medida vergüenza ajena”, finalizó.
