(Video) Terrible accidente aéreo en Estados Unidos entre dos aviones militares
El percance ocurrió durante un espectáculo con aeronaves de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Dos aviones chocaron entre ellos durante una exhibición aérea que se estaba celebrando en la ciudad de Dallas, en Estados Unidos. Al parecer un cambio brusco en el viento pudo influir en el siniestro y de momento no se conoce el estado físico de los pilotos que se vieron implicados en esa colisión.
El momento del siniestro quedó grabado en el en el teléfono celular de una persona que estaba siguiendo de cerca la exhibición y que tras el choque exclamó: “Dios mío… oh Dios mío”.
En el vídeo grabado por otra testigo se puede ver como la aeronave de más tamaño volaba más cerca de la superficie mientras que la otra, más pequeña, se interpone en su camino.
Al parecer, uno de los aviones implicados era un un bombardero Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress y el otro un caza Bell P-63Kingcobra y el incidente se produjo en el Wings Over DallasAirshow en el Aeropuerto Ejecutivo de Dallas.
Tras el siniestro más de 40 unidades de rescate de incendios aparecieron en la escena, en la que todavía no se ha confirmado si hay víctimas mortales o heridos.
La organización informó que se canceló otro de los eventos que estaba programado para este domingo.
“Como muchos de ustedes ya han visto, hemos tenido una terrible tragedia en nuestra ciudad hoy durante una exhibición aérea. Muchos detalles todavía se desconocen o no están confirmados en este momento. Los videos son desgarradores. Por favor, oren por las almas que se elevaron al cielo para entretener y educar a nuestras familias hoy”, dijo el alcalde de Dallas, Eric Johnson.
El Wings Over Dallas es un espectáculo aéreo que organiza la Fuerza Aérea Conmemorativa (CAF), una entidad destinada a preservar las naves de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, que están estacionadas en el aeropuerto Red Bird.
Durante el número de este sábado, emprendió vuelo un B-17, un inmenso avión bombardero de cuatro motores. Esta nave fue una pieza importante para las fuerzas aéreas de los Estados Unidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Al día de hoy, se conservan muy pocos que, principalmente, se exhiben en museos y shows. Por su parte, la otra nave –un Kingcobra- fue utilizada principalmente por las tropas soviéticas.
