Retumbos causaron alarma la noche de este martes.
Vecinos de Heredia y Alajuela reportaron haber escuchado fuertes retumbos la noche de este martes.
Aproximadamente a las 6:50 p.m. pobladores de varios sectores de ambas provincias reportaron una serie de retumbos.
Estos son algunos de los reportes que el medio herediano Yamba Radio recibió en sus redes sociales:
“Heredia centro, súper fuerte, los perros del barrio empezaron a ladrar”, Rebeca Vargas Salas.
“Fue un rayo exageradamente fuerte y largo. Qué susto. Las ventanas quedaron vibrando por un rato. Santa Cecilia. Heredia”, Xenia Peraza
“La Guácima de Alajuela se escucharon bien fuerte los retumbos”, Milena Castro.
“La Aurora de Heredia… Se escuchó muy fuerte y muy largo”,Ana Isabel Solano.
“En Alajuela se escuchó bastante fuerte”, Johan Rojas.
“San Francisco de Heredia muy fuerte y largo”, Sele Ramos.
“La Ribera de Belen, súper fuerte”, Magaly Murillo Alvarado.
“Desamparados de Alajuela fuertes…truenos en seco”, Alejandro Madriz.
“La Palma de Heredia fuertísimo hasta vibraron los vidrios”, Gabriela Ramírez Calvo.
“Santa Cecilia de Heredia. Fue un bombazo horrible”, Gre Vargas.
“La Garita de Alajuela se escucharon muy fuerte”, Gabriela Elizondo Jiménez.
¿Y qué fue lo qué pasó?
De acuerdo con el Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) el fenómeno se podría deber a que el país está bajo la influencia de la onda tropical número 45 que provocó una tormenta eléctrica y altos montos de lluvia en el Pacífico Central, acumulados entre 25 milímetros y 50 milímetros, pero principalmente en el Pacífico Sur, donde se registraron montos entre 35 milímetros y 70 milímetros con máximos de 113 milímetros en Golfito y 180 milímetros en Puerto Jiménez.
En el resto del país, las precipitaciones no acumularon más de 30 milímetros .
La entidad informó que aunque la tormenta ocurre en algunas regiones específicas, el sonido y el resplandor pueden resaltar en otros lugares.
“Las tormentas se escuchan en cualquier lado. Hace unos años hubo una tormenta en el Pacífico y se escuchó aquí en San José, lo que pasa es que ocurrió en la madrugada”, explicó el meteorólogo Juan Diego Naranjo al medio CRHoy.com.
