(Fotos) Puntarenas: Lluvias torrenciales inundan colegio indígena de Rey Curré
Tras la influencia indirecta de la tormenta tropical Julia.
El Colegio Indígena Yímba Cájc, situado en Rey Curré de Buenos Aires, Puntarenas, se vio afectado por las fuertes lluvias que afectan al país producto de la influencia indirecta de la tormenta tropical Julia.
Esta es la segunda ocasión en la que el centro educativo sufre estragos por el paso de un fenómeno atmosférico. En octubre de 2017 se inundó cuando la tormenta tropical Nate golpeó la costa pacífica del país. En aquella oportunidad se perdió todo lo que había en el colegio.
Este domingo el centro de estudios se volvió a inundar, esta vez el agua se coló entre pasillos y aulas. Personeros del centro educativo intentaron salvar la mayor cantidad de bienes posibles.
Así lo muestran fotografías que circulan en redes sociales.
Cerca del colegio se ubica el río Grande de Térraba, que presenta un aumento de sus aguas debido a las lluvias.
El centro educativo fue inaugurado en el 2013. El Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) invirtió 600 millones de colones en la construcción y equipamiento de la obra.
