Trivisión canal 36 toma fuerza y sigue creciendo. La dupla conformada por el periodista Jerry Alfaro y el empresario David Patey prepara nuevos contenidos y ya se alista para traer parte de su operación a San José.
En momentos en los que se agradecen nuevas ofertas televisivas y nuevos talentos el canal guanacasteco piensa en posicionarse en el gusto de los televidentes por eso alquilará un nuevo edificio en La Sabana y contratará a más personal: cinco periodistas y cinco camarógrafos más.
Además, está en conversaciones con corresponsales de zonas como Limón, Pérez Zeledón, Golfito, San Carlos y Quepos para llegar a más comunidades y no solo limitarse a informar a los guanacastecos.
De acuerdo con una publicación del periódico La Teja, la idea es que esos nuevos integrantes se trasladen a cubrir las noticias que ocurren en el Valle Central.
Importante inversión
Según indicó el rotativo, Patey invirtió en equipos de transmisión digital vía Internet, conocidos como Live U, para lograr que las imágenes que se graben lleguen hasta la sede central del canal, en Guanacaste.
Con estos dispositivos los equipos del canal se podrán desplazar a cualquier punto del país pues la idea del empresario y de Jerry es hacer un noticiero a nivel nacional.
“Nuestro plan de expansión involucra tener un noticiario diario dedicado a los acontecimientos que ocurran en Guanacaste y la idea es tener otro noticiario nacional (aún no le tienen nombre) que involucre lo más importante para Guanacaste y el resto del país. La idea es mantener siempre la identidad guanacasteca, o sea, nosotros no vamos a dejar de operar desde Guanacaste. De hecho, nuestros eslogan es desde Guanacaste para toda Costa Rica”, declaró Jerry Alfaro, director del noticiero y gerente de la televisora.
Actualmente Trivisión canal 36 está disponible en 22 cableras. El empresario comentó que ya está en conversaciones para ampliar la cobertura.
“El martes pasado estuvimos en las oficinas de Micitt y ya nuestra solicitud ha sido enviada a Sutel para su valoración técnica, porque hemos solicitado cobertura nacional en cuanto a nuestra frecuencia, las únicas personas que ahorita no pueden vernos son los que no tienen acceso a cable, sea por situación económica o porque en la zona donde viven no entra el cable, por eso esperamos que el próximo año ya estemos en cobertura total por aire”, explicó Patey.
Nuevos contenidos
Además de crecer y atreverse a darle la pelea a las televisoras “grandes” David y Jerry también piensan en nuevos contenidos para diversificar su grilla de programación.
Actualmente realizan transmisiones de fútbol así como de otras disciplinas deportivas como boxeo, además, empezarán a transmitir corridas de toros desde cada cantón guanacasteco a partir del mes de noviembre todos los fines de semana.
Otro de sus proyectos es realizar un noticiero 100 % en idioma inglés.
