Muere el rapero estadounidense Coolio, a sus 59 años; fue encontrado en el baño de un amigo

Este miércoles, 28 de septiembre, se conoció que el rapero estadounidense Artis Leon Ivey Jr., mejor conocido como Coolio, uno de los artistas más representativos de los años 90, fue encontrado muerto en el baño de uno de sus amigos, según reportó el portal TMZ.
A sus 59 años de edad, Coolio es mundialmente reconocido por su más grande éxito Gangsta’s Paradise, canción que, incluso, fue la banda sonora de la película Mentes peligrosas, dirigida por John N. Smith.
Al parecer, el rapero estaba de visita en casa de uno de sus amigos, cuando pidió prestado el baño, al ver que tardaba mucho en salir, el conocido del artista decidió golpear en la puerta para preguntar si todo estaba en orden, sin embargo, Coolio no respondió, lo que llamó la atención de su amigo, según la versión que el mánager del rapero, Jarez, dio al medio citado.
En ese momento, el amigo decidió abrir la puerta para ver qué sucedía, fue el momento en el que habría encontrado al rapero que yacía en el piso del baño, continúo relatando el mánager según TMZ, agregando que en ese instante se llamó a emergencias, y los especialistas médicos dictaminaron la muerte del rapero en la escena.
