(Video) Con caravana, despiden a cruzrojista que murió atropellado en Cartago
Minor Correa Pereira falleció en el cumplimiento de su deber mientras atendía un accidente de tránsito en el sector de Ochomogo.
Con una caravana de ambulancias de la Cruz Roja Costarricense (CRC), vehículos del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Costa Rica y patrullas de la Fuerza Pública fue despedido Minor Correa Pereira, quien falleció la madrugada de este viernes al ser las 3:36 a.m. mientras atendía una colisión entre una motocicleta y una vagoneta en el sector de Alto Ochomogo de San Nicolás, Cartago.
Mientras los paramédicos atendían a los heridos por la emergencia, Correa, de 59 años, fue embestido por un carro que transitaba por el lugar a alta velocidad.
Correa Pereira se desempeñaba como conductor permanente en el Comité Auxiliar de la CRC en Cartago. Tenía 20 años de trabajar para la Benemérita Institución.
En el traslado del cuerpo del admirado cruzrojista desde el Complejo de Ciencias Forenses, en San Joaquín de Flores, en Heredia hacia Tejar del Guarco, localidad donde residía Correa, vehículos de los cuerpos de emergencia le dieron el último adiós.
A su paso por la estación de Bomberos en San Francisco de Heredia, las unidades del cuerpo de emergencia encendieron sus sirenas, pitos y luces para rendir homenaje al cruzrojista que falleció en el cumplimento del deber.
