Madre de joven asesinada en Liberia escuchó los disparos que acabaron con la vida de su hija
Familiares de Fiorella Barrantes Chavarría aseguran que los pistoleros la confundieron.
Una joven de 19 años fue asesinada a tiros la noche del viernes anterior mientras conversaba con un grupo de amigos en Liberia, Guanacaste.
La víctima fue identificada como Fiorella Barrantes Chavarría quien fue atacada por desconocidos a las 11:57 p.m. en la localidad de barrio Curime.
Yorleny Chavarría, madre de la joven, declaró a diario La Teja que alcanzó a escuchar los disparos que acabaron con la vida de su hija menor.
“Los escuché y de una vez me tiré de la cama porque pensé en mi hija, desgraciadamente cuando llegué mi hija estaba tendida, mi muchachita”, recordó.
A Fiorella le sobrevive una niña de tres años quien ahora quedará bajo custodia de su abuela materna.
Doña Yorleny asegura que los gatilleros confundieron a su hija y que muchas veces le advirtió que no visitara el lugar donde ocurrió la tragedia porque sentía que era peligroso. Pero la noche del viernes la joven decidió salir porque se encontró con dos amigos y se quedó conversando con ellos.
Fiorella le dijo a su madre que pronto regresaría, minutos después sobrevino la tragedia.
“Para nadie es un secreto que este atentado no era para mi hija, porque ella no se metía con nadie, tampoco tenía vicios, ella llevaba un curso de manicura y solo deseaba salir adelante con su niña”, declaró Chavarría a La Teja.
“El atentado era contra otra muchacha que vivía ahí, ella solo llegó al frente de esa casa, se sentó a conversar con más jóvenes y la confundieron, desgraciadamente”, agregó.
En la balacera también resultó herida una mujer identificada como ‘Kattia’, de 35 años, y dos menores de edad, de cinco y 13 años quienes fueron trasladados al hospital Enrique Baltodano.
Hace tan solo dos semanas a ‘Kattia’ también la habrían atacado, según contó doña Yorleny al rotativo y por eso le insistía a su hija que no visitara ese lugar.
Le preguntaron si se llamaba ‘Kattia’, dijo que no y aún así le dispararon
Chavarría contó que varios testigos indicaron que los pistoleros le preguntaron a Fiorella si se llamaba ‘Kattia’, ella lo negó, y aún así le dispararon.
“Kattia también estaba hablando con ellas, pero se metió a dormir a uno de los chiquitos. Cuando llegaron (los pistoleros), una muchacha dio la versión de que a Fiorella le preguntaron: ‘¿Usted es Kattia?’, y ella dijo: ’No, yo no soy’, y siempre le dispararon, entraron a la casa y le dispararon a Kattia y a los dos menores de edad”, manifestó la dolida madre.
“En el OIJ me dijeron: ‘Su hija desgraciadamente estaba en el lugar equivocado’”, agregó.
Fiorella y “Kattia” eran amigas pues la joven fallecida era tía de un hijo de ella.
El sospechoso del hecho es un hombre conocido como ‘Ojos bellos’. La Fuerza Pública lo arrestó. Las autoridades presumen que una segunda persona participó en el atroz ataque.
