A sus 91 años doña Inés Sánchez recibe reconocimiento que la acredita como bombera honoraria
La comunicadora celebró por partida doble porque este mes cumplió 61 años de haber llegado a Costa Rica.
Doña Inés Sánchez es parte de la vida de varias generaciones gracias a sus décadas de trabajo en la televisión. A sus 91 años la presentadora más emblemática del país se unió hace unos meses a las filas del Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos de Costa Rica
Sánchez es el nuevo rostro de una campaña de la benemérita institución enfocada en brindar consejos para temporada de lluvias.
En agradecimiento por el trabajo conjunto el presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, le otorgó a doña Inés un reconocimiento que la acredita como bombera honoraria.
Al recibir el homenaje, Sánchez, comentó que celebra por partida doble porque este mes de julio cumplió 61 años de haber llegado a Costa Rica.
“El día 21 de este mes yo cumplí 61 años de haber llegado a este país. Que suerte tuve, muchas personas siguieron para otros países, pero yo no tenía visa para ningún lugar así que tuve la suerte”, manifestó la comunicadora.
“Tuve la suerte de quedarme aquí y de vivir bajo este lindo cielo, parecido al color del cielo de la tierra que tuve que dejar”, agregó.
En su discurso, la comunicadora destacó la democracia costarricense.
“No importa por quién votaste o por quien no votaste, ¿sabes lo que importa?, que tenemos la oportunidad, porque yo no la tenía, de tener un presidente electo democráticamente”, finalizó.
Doña Inés ha sido galardonada varias veces a lo largo de su trayectoria, además ingresó al Libro Guinness de los Récords por su programa Teleclub como el espacio educativo de televisión más longevo de la historia, y por ser la conductora de un programa de este tipo con más años al aire.
