Presidenta de la FEUCR denuncia que sufrió acoso sexual en un bar
“Definitivamente el miedo de volver a un espacio de estos es inmenso”, comentó Alhana Chavarría.
Alhana Chavarría Montero, la primera mujer transgénero en presidir el directorio de la Federación de Estudiantes de la Universidad de Costa Rica (FEUCR) denunció en su perfil de Twitter que fue víctima de acoso sexual en un bar.
“El pasado viernes estaba bailando tranquilamente en un bar y llegó un mae (que no conocía) a besarme sin mi consentimiento, al decirle que no, lo tomó a broma y tocó mi cuerpo. Yo solamente entré en shock y lo único que mi mente dijo fué: tenés que salir de acá y así fué”, inició su relato Alhana.
“Cuando estoy afuera y le escribo a mis amigues, el mae llegó como si nada hubiese pasado a preguntar porque estaba llorando. Claramente un amigo lo sacó inmediatamente. Que difícil tener que enfrentar estas situaciones. Que impotencia y coraje que esto siga sucediendo”, agregó.
Por último la joven estudiante de Sociología indicó: “Definitivamente el miedo de volver a un espacio de estos es inmenso, pasé llorando toda la noche de ese día y en definitiva me sentía muy mal. La culpa no es nuestra jamás”.
Alhana Chavarría hizo historia con su designación como presidenta de la FEUCR pues se convirtió en la primera mujer trans de Centroamérica y la segunda de Latinoamérica en alcanzar ese puesto en una federación de estudiantes.
