De Casa Presidencial a Harvard: Claudia Dobles cursará beca Loeb
La exprimera dama fue una de las nueve seleccionadas entre 131 postulantes de todo el mundo.
La exprimera dama de la República y arquitecta, Claudia Dobles Camargo, fue seleccionada por la prestigiosa universidad estadounidense Harvard para cursar una beca del programa Loeb.
Esta beca es otorgada por el centro universitario a los profesionales que sobresalen en sus áreas de para que desarrollen proyectos e investigaciones.
Dobles fue una de las nueve seleccionadas entre 131 postulantes de todo el mundo; además, será la primera mujer costarricense que accede a este programa en Massachusetts, Estados Unidos.
La beca se desarrollará en la Escuela de Posgrado de Diseño de Harvard entre agosto del 2022 y junio del 2023.
Durante ese periodo la exprimera dama desarrollará investigaciones a partir de tres propuestas que presentó al postularse.
“Agradezco a Harvard y a Loeb Fellowship por seleccionarme como Loeb Fellow. Me siento honrada de ser la primera mujer costarricense en el programa. Mi reconocimiento a Michael Smith, quien fue el primer costarricense y centroamericano en participar”, manifestó Dobles en sus redes sociales.
Los proyectos
Uno de los proyectos que trabajará la arquitecta trata sobre la transición energética, el cual desarrollará en colaboración con el MIT (Instituto de Tecnología de Massachusetts).
El segundo es acerca de un plan sobre las mejores prácticas en lo relativo a los mecanismos de financiamiento y gobernanza de los sistemas de viviendas de interés social.
Y el tercer proyecto está relacionado con los espacios públicos, digitalización y fortalecimiento democrático, el cual trabajará junto con la Escuela de Derecho y la Escuela de Gobierno John F. Kennedy de la Universidad de Harvard.
