MEDSE celebra eliminación de las pruebas FARO
“Este esfuerzo del mandatario por eliminarlas nos alegra muchísimo”, comentó la presidenta de la agrupación Yuliana Alfaro.
El Movimiento Estudiantil de Secundaria (MEDSE), férreo opositor a las pruebas de Fortalecimiento de Aprendizajes para la Renovación de Oportunidades (FARO), celebró la determinación del presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves, de eliminar las evaluaciones.
“Estamos muy felices puesto que esta era una lucha que habíamos tenido. Desde hace un par de años estamos luchando en contra de FARO puesto que no consideramos que los estudiantes tengan la capacitación suficiente, además de tomar (en cuenta) el rezago que ha tenido la educación”, expresó la presidenta de MEDSE, Yuliana Alfaro, a Noticias Columbia.
La joven, quien cursa el sexto año de secundaria y tiene 18 años de edad, aseguró que estarán atentos a la propuesta que la jerarca de Educación Pública, Anna Katharina Müller Castro, presentará al Consejo Superior de Educación (CSE) el ente encargado de analizar la propuesta para eliminar las pruebas FARO.
Alfaro indicó que de eliminarse las polémicas pruebas se debe comunicar qué pasará con los estudiantes que ya las realizaron, pero no obtuvieron buenos resultados.
“Este esfuerzo del presidente por eliminarlas nos alegra muchísimo y realmente un reflejo de este rezago educativo fueron los resultados de las pruebas FARO este año que realmente fueron muy negativos, sin embargo, sí nos queda como un poco de duda cuál va a ser el procedimiento que se le va a dar a los estudiantes que ya realizaron Faro y esperamos que se les pueda dar la oportunidad de que los que tuvieron resultados muy negativos puedan realizar otro examen de medición y puedan reponer un poco esa nota tan negativa que al fin y al cabo afecta a su educación”, comentó.
La colegial comentó que MEDSE siempre estuvo en contra de las evaluaciones porque los alumnos las enfrentaron en condiciones adversas y con poca preparación.
“Siempre van a hacer comentarios de que tengo que hacer Faro este año, pero no tengo la preparación suficiente o ni siquiera tengo material complementario para poder estudiar, no sé lo que me sale y realmente lo que genera al fin y al cabo es preocupación y estrés en los estudiantes”, finalizó.
