(Fotos) Se desploma puente peatonal sobre autos en Circunvalación
Seis personas fueron atendidas en el lugar informaron las autoridades.
Al menos seis personas resultaron heridas después de que un segmento de un puente peatonal colapsara sobre dos vehículos en la vía de Circunvalación sur, ruta 39, específicamente en las cercanías de San Sebastián.
El hecho se reportó la tarde de este lluvioso sábado a las 4:14 p.m. de la rotonda del Walmart, 200 metros en dirección hacia Paso Ancho.
Una grúa que circulaba por el lugar colisionó contra la estructura.
“El puente fue botado por una grúa telescópica que aparentemente traía el brazo mecánico levantado, el conductor no se percató de esa situación por lo que al pasar por debajo golpeó el puente y se trae abajo una parte. Esa estructura cayó sobre la carretera golpeando dos vehículos que iban pasando”, explicó a diario La Teja Mario Vargas, jefe de Patrullas de la Policía de Tránsito de San José.
Ileana Espinoza, del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Costa Rica, declaró al rotativo que los afectados fueron revisados por paramédicos y resultaron con golpes leves, pero ninguno requirió ser trasladado a un centro médico.
Producto del accidente se presenta un gran congestionamiento en la zona por lo que se recomienda tomar rutas alternas.
