(Video) Cartago: En plena procesión cae imagen de Jesús Nazareno sobre feligreses

Un video captado por un feligrés muestra el momento en el que la imagen de Jesús Nazareno sufre un percance, la noche de este miércoles, en Cot de Oreamuno, en Cartago.
Todo ocurrió en la tan esperada y tradicional procesión del “Señor de las Cintas” en la que los fieles atan a la imagen de Jesús Nazareno varias cintas que simbolizan una intención.
En la procesión los feligreses acostumbran a caminar junto a la imagen sosteniendo las cintas.
En el material audiovisual se aprecia como uno de los asistentes se colgó de las cintas, la imagen se desbalanceó y cayó de medio lado.
En el video se escuchan los gritos de susto de los presentes, quienes no daban crédito a lo ocurrido.
El centro de monitoreo de la Cruz Roja Costarricense indicó que tras el incidente no se atendió a ningún herido.
Una de las procesiones más esperadas
Esta noche, devotos de diferentes partes de país, se unieron a la imagen del Jesús Nazareno de la Parroquia San Antonio de Padua, en Cot de Cartago, para celebrar la tradicional procesión del “Señor de las Cintas”.
Esta colorida tradición, venida de Guatemala, es todo un acontecimiento en esta comunidad cartaginesa. La imagen misma fue traída desde ese país hermano y data de hace más de 300 años, según informó Adolfo Rojas, integrante de la Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno al medio Eco Católico.
En la celebración, participaron niños vestidos de ángeles y adultos vestidos de Jesús Nazareno. Se trata de una tradición muy presente en la comunidad. Según comentó Rojas, las personas que padecen alguna enfermedad suelen ponerse un traje de Nazareno y piden al Señor por su salud o agradecen por las bendiciones recibidas.
