“Es el fin de nuestro gremio”, taxistas se oponen a aumento de tarifa
El nuevo ajuste comenzará a regir la próxima semana.
El primer kilómetro y el adicional del servicio de taxi de la flota roja aumentará ₡205 y pasará de ₡645 a ₡850. Así lo aprobó la Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (Aresep), debido a la fijación tarifaria ordinaria abierta de oficio por el ente regulador.
Además se permitirá a los taxistas negociar la tarifa con el pasajero, quedando el monto señalado en “la maría” como el monto máximo a cobrar.
La medida del ente regulador enfureció a los conductores miembros de los grupos Alianza C1 y sindicato nacional de taxistas. La información la dio a conocer el medio digital AmeliaRueda.com.
“Nos oponemos a ese aumento, nosotros no lo pedimos y no lo queremos. Esto representa el fin del taxista”, declaró el vocero del grupo, Ricardo Venegas, al medio digital.
El representante del gremio calificó el aumento como injusto, ilógico y desproporcionado.
“Desde que sacaron la noticia ya cuesta más que las personas tomen la decisión de tomar un taxi, la gente cree que ya se está aplicando este aumento. Nosotros nos oponemos porque venimos saliendo de una pandemia, dos largos años donde el pueblo pasó las peores circunstancias económicas, el usuario de taxi está muy limitado por la situación que hemos pasado y por eso nosotros presentamos la oposición, fueron 38 páginas de oposición que se le presentamos a la Aresep”, manifestó.
El vocero explicó a AmeliaRueda.com que en la audiencia pública en la que se discutió el nuevo modelo tarifario y la propuesta de alza, que se realizó el pasado 18 de marzo, se presentaron ocho posiciones, seis en contra y sólo dos a favor. Pese a esto la Aresep decidió archivar la opinión de los grupos de taxistas que estuvieron en contra del ajuste.
“Nosotros nos opusimos y sin embargo la Aresep de una forma prepotente decide archivar la oposición del sindicato y de las otras cinco personas que dijimos no estar de acuerdo con el aumento y la Aresep dice que el aumento va porque va”, manifestó.
Venegas comentó que iniciaron una campaña donde se van a rotular todas las unidades de taxi que no están de acuerdo con el aumento y, además, presentarán ante la entidad reguladora una oposición para evitar que el incremento entre a regir.
“Nosotros no queremos ese aumento, es necesario que el usuario sepa que el taxista no pidió ese aumento y no lo queremos, sino que la Aresep es la que lo está poniendo a como ellos quieren. La Aresep no está a favor del ciudadano ni del pueblo; el taxista está en contra de este aumento, en su gran mayoría, este aumento no lo queremos porque no queremos afectar al usuario, no queremos que el usuario pague por un servicio tan caro”, finalizó el representante del gremio.
