Este fue el audio de emergencia que enviaron los pilotos de DHL a la torre de control
“Mayday, mayday, tenemos problemas de sistema hidráulico izquierdo, tenemos dos almas a bordo”.
Este jueves 7 de abril, se registró un accidente aéreo dentro de las instalaciones de Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría.
Se trata de un avión carguero 757, propiedad de la compañía DHL, el cual reportó en el aire que tenía problemas hidráulicos.
De forma inmediata, las autoridades de rescate y cuerpo de bomberos del del Aeropuerto, así como de las Estaciones de Alajuela, Heredia y San José, se dirigieron al sitio para atender la emergencia.
Mayday, mayday, tenemos problemas de sistema hidráulico izquierdo, tenemos dos almas a bordo, tenemos dos horas 30 de combustible, haciendo holding, sobre la posición Esparza 1:3000. Como mercancía peligrosa tenemos líquido corrosivo, vamos a preparar nuestra aeronave para hacer un aterrizaje de emergencia con la falla del sistema hidráulico izquierdo.
Hace unos minutos al avión carguero logró aterrizar con dos personas a bordo, accidentándose dentro del aeropuerto.
La aeronave se partió en dos, pero afortunadamente ninguno de sus tripulantes salió herido.
