Tras recibir amenazas, Rodrigo Chaves se reúne con la DIS
Luego de su victoria en el balotaje el domingo anterior el presidente electo ha sido blanco de amenazas principalmente en redes sociales.
El presidente electo, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, se reunió con funcionarios de la Dirección de Inteligencia y Seguridad (DIS) tras recibir una serie de amenazas en los últimos días principalmente en redes sociales.
Luego de sostener una reunión con el excandidato presidencial del Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN), José María Figueres el martes anterior, Chaves indicó que tenía planeado reunirse con los funcionarios con el propósito de revisar los temas relacionados con su seguridad personal.
“Tengo conocimiento de las amenazas. Viera que esta tarde (martes para el lector) me reuniré con funcionarios de la DIS para tomar ese punto. Yo creo que nunca falta un domingo 7 y una cabeza caliente. Que aparezca una que otra cabeza caliente eso lo manejaremos de acuerdo a nuestra legislación y las cosas que hay que hacer al respecto”, declaró el exministro de Hacienda.
“Yo he decidido, desde hace ya bastante tiempo, no comentar sobre los rumores de amenazas personales ni sobre las amenazas que alguna gente ya ha publicado en Twitter. Tengo conocimiento de ellas”, agregó Chaves.
¿Y qué es la DIS?
La Dirección de Inteligencia y Seguridad (DIS) es una entidad adscrita al Ministerio de la Presidencia para temas de seguridad nacional.
Se encarga de temas de logística de seguridad para informar al Gobierno de la República así como de la protección de los jerarcas.
