Gobierno crea grupo para analizar impactos socioeconómicos en el país ante crisis en Ucrania
El equipo estará conformado por el equipo económico, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto y el Ministerio de la Presidencia
La tensión entre Rusia y Ucrania (y Occidente) parece haber alcanzado un punto de no retorno. Para lograr un alivio de la situación sería necesario que una de las dos partes diese su brazo a torcer, algo poco probable tras el ataque de Rusia a Ucrania.
Es por eso que el Gobierno de la República, por instrucciones del presidente Carlos Alvarado, instaló un equipo interinstitucional con el fin de monitorear las incidencias que se puedan generar en términos de impacto socioeconómico en el país.
Este constante seguimiento permitirá la toma decisiones oportunas y basadas en criterios técnicos en caso de que se tenga que atender o mitigar eventuales impactos económicos, costos logísticos o en el abastecimiento de insumos, así como eventuales presiones sobre los precios de las materias primas y otros aspectos, informó Casa Presidencial por medio de un comunicado de prensa.
“Estos mecanismos de seguimiento son usuales ante situaciones de esta importancia. En esta línea, ayer se realizó la primera acción, con un proyecto de ley para congelar por un año la aplicación del mecanismo de actualización del impuesto específico a los combustibles”, agregó Presidencia.
Este equipo estará conformado por el equipo económico, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto y el Ministerio de la Presidencia, informó la jerarca de esta cartera, Geannina Dinarte.
