Conflicto en Ucrania: Carlos Alvarado llama al diálogo y la paz
“Llamo a la Federación de Rusia a respetar la vida de los civiles y de las autoridades ucranianas”, indicó el mandatario.
El presidente de Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, se refirió sobre el conflicto entre Ucrania y Rusia que se desató el pasado 23 de febrero con los primeros bombardeos de las tropas rusas.
Alvarado hizo un llamado al diálogo y la paz.
“Debe haber un alto al fuego en Ucrania. Llamo a la Federación de Rusia a respetar la vida de los civiles y de las autoridades ucranianas”, indicó el mandatario por medio de sus redes sociales.
“Llamo igualmente a respetar los derechos de los ciudadanos rusos que se manifiestan pacíficamente contra la guerra. ¡El diálogo y la paz son el único camino!”, agregó.
El 23 de febrero de 2022, el presidente de Rusia, Vladimir Putin, ordenó a sus tropas bombardear e invadir Ucrania, país vecino. Es la primera gran agresión de este tipo en Europa desde el desenlace de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en 1945 y el fin de la dictadura de los nazis en Alemania.
Más de 50.000 ucranianos han salido del país desde que empezó la invasión.
Al menos 137 ucranianos han muerto durante el primer día de la ofensiva rusa, informó este viernes el presidente de Ucrania, Volodimir Zelenski.
