Elí Feinzaig: “No estoy apoyando a ningún candidato para la segunda ronda”
“Que cada persona elija según su conciencia y juicio personal”, agregó el líder del PLP.
El líder del Partido Liberal Progresista (PLP), Elí Feinzaig, aseguró en su cuenta de Twitter que, por el momento, no le ha dado su adhesión a ninguno de los candidatos que se disputarán la Presidencia de la República en segunda ronda: José María Figueres y Rodrigo Chaves.
“No estoy apoyando a ningún candidato para la segunda ronda. Ante las muchas consultas que he estado recibiendo respecto de a cuál candidato voy a apoyar para la segunda ronda electoral, quiero aclarar que, al día de hoy, no he dado mi apoyo a ninguno de los dos. A ninguno. Tampoco me he reunido ni he conversado con nadie de esos partidos”, aseguró el diputado electo por San José.
“Agrego, además, que la decisión bien podría ser no apoyar a ninguno y recomendar que cada persona elija según su conciencia y juicio personal”, añadió.
Feinzaig considera que: “Respetar la voz del pueblo me parece de primordial relevancia y quiero al menos escuchar lo que mis compañeros y seguidores del partido tienen que decir al respecto, antes de tomar una decisión”.
“A todas luces, esta es una elección muy importante para Costa Rica. Como candidato y diputado electo, estoy muy consciente de que los hombres y mujeres que depositaron su confianza en mí no escogieron a ninguno de esos candidatos”, agregó.
El economista aprovechó la publicación para agradecer a todas las personas que votaron por el PLP el domingo anterior.
“Aprovecho para agradecer, nuevamente, a todas las personas que confiaron en mí y en la propuesta del Partido Liberal Progresista honrándonos con su voto, y a los miles y miles de personas que, con su trabajo tesonero y aporte desinteresado, hicieron esta campaña posible”, finalizó.
