Cabecilla de grupo antivacunas que irrumpió en el hospital de Heredia enfrenta audiencia

Marco Morales Albertazzi, uno de los líderes del grupo que se opone a la vacunación obligatoria en Costa Rica y que protagonizó una violenta irrupción el miércoles anterior en el hospital San Vicente de Paul (HSVP), en Heredia, enfrenta desde el mediodía una audiencia de solicitud de medidas cautelares.
De acuerdo con la Fiscalía Adjunta de Heredia el proceso tenía que iniciar a las 8:30 a.m. pero se presentó un atraso relacionado con el defensor de Morales Albertazzi.
“El despacho confirmará el tipo de medidas cautelares solicitadas hasta que finalice la audiencia”, explicó el Ministerio Público.
Morales Albertazzi se mantiene detenido, a diferencia de las otras seis personas imputadas por este caso, quienes quedaron en libertad con medidas cautelares alternas a prisión tras prestar declaración ante el juez.
Se trata de cuatro mujeres de apellidos Ramírez, Corella, Reyes y Brenes, así como dos hombres apellidados Villalobos, y Ramírez.
La Fiscalía solicitó las medidas cautelares de prohibición de acercarse a 200 metros del hospital de Heredia, comunicarse con víctimas y testigos, y reunirse o manifestarse en espacios públicos.
Respecto a Brenes Chavarría, el tribunal ordenó su libertad sin medidas cautelares, pero el Ministerio Público apeló la resolución por lo que se está a la espera de que se programe una nueva audiencia, en la que la Fiscalía volverá a presentar su petición.
Contexto
Miembros del grupo llamado Movimiento por la Salud y la Libertad, conformado por opositores a la obligatoriedad del biológico contra el virus SARS-CoV-2, protagonizaron un violento ingreso al HSVP para “liberar” a un niño de seis años, cuyos padres se oponen a su vacunación contra covid-19.
Según recoge una publicación del medio AmeliaRueda.com la directora del centro médico, Priscila Balmaceda, explicó que el pequeño ingresó por una patología respiratoria.
Ante esta situación, el médico tratante solicitó la aplicación de la inmunización, hecho que requirió de la intervención del servicio de trabajo social tras la negativa de los padres. Además se solicitó criterio al Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI).
Las autoridades del hospital indicaron que el menor será dado de alta cuando los especialistas así lo autoricen.
